IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - MEETING LOCATION CHANGE At our May meeting, we were informed that the Carmine's Little Italy on Durango (where we were meeting) would be closing and would not be available after the May meeting. Following a tip from Bob and Gail, we checked out the meeting room at the Blue Ox Tavern, located at 5825 W. Sahara Ave. The meeting room is really good and the perfect size for our needs. It's closed off from the bar area and on a separate air system. They have a good menu at a good price. Minors are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. The June meeting will be held at this location and unless someone can come up with a better place, we will most likely settle here (unless we drive another restaurant out of business). The next meeting is on June 19, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the Blue Ox Tavern. See you there! OFFICERS AND
CREW OF THE USS LAS VEGAS The officers and crew of the USS Las Vegas, along with special guests, were allowed access to the Enterprise 1701-D Bridge set located at Star Trek: The Experience prior to the closure of STTE. A crew photo was taken and then additional photos were taken by crew members. We are looking for any and all Star Trek fans to join us as we continue to celebrate the world of Star Trek. Monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM. Membership in the USS Las Vegas is free. If you are interested in joining this club, send an e-mail to info@usslasvegas.org with your name, e-mail address and phone number.
