REALLY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT NEW MEETING LOCATION FOR JUNE MEETING AND THE SEARCH IS ON AGAIN! Memphis Championship Barbeque has now closed their doors completely. They will no longer be opening for the USS Las Vegas crew meetings. The May meeting was the LAST meeting to be held there. We wish to thank Cindy and all the staff at Memphis BBQ for the more than two years of service to our crew in providing such a great place to have our meetings and such good food and service as well. We with them all well in the future. We have secured a new location for the June meeting. We will meet at Famous Dave's Barbeque, a little further south still on Rainbow. What's with us and barbeque? Anyway, we will be trying out the new location and determine if it will meet our needs on a monthly basis or if we will have to start the search again. The address for Famous Dave's is 1951 N. Rainbow Blvd. We will meet in the private room off the bar area. We will continue to have our social hour starting at 5:30 PM and the meetings will continue to start at 6:30 PM. Please join us at the June
meeting so we can get lots of input on the new location. OFFICERS AND
CREW OF THE USS LAS VEGAS The officers and crew of the USS Las Vegas, along with special guests, were allowed access to the Enterprise 1701-D Bridge set located at Star Trek: The Experience prior to the closure of STTE. A crew photo was taken and then additional photos were taken by crew members. links page. Click here to check it out. The USS Las Vegas is always looking for new members. We are looking for any and all Star Trek fans to join us as we continue to celebrate the world of Star Trek. Monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM. Membership in the USS Las Vegas is currently free, although this could change in the near future. Upcoming events include local civic activities, charitable activities, away missions with other Star Trek clubs, i.e. Disneyland (Mouse Trek), Universal Studios-Hollywood (Jurassic Trek), and other local area amusements. If you are interested in joining this club, send an e-mail to info@usslasvegas.org with your name, e-mail address and phone number. We will contact you as soon as possible to answer your questions.
