2006 Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon

Members of the crew of the USS Las Vegas donated their time and efforts by working the pledge phones during the 2006 Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon. The crew reported for duty at 6:00 PM PST and worked the phones taking pledges from the local area. If you were watching the show during the local breaks, several of the crew had time on the air. The crew wore their blue IFT T-shirts and sat together for the most part. We worked from approximately 6:00 PM PST until 12:00 AM PST.

The USS Las Vegas places a high commitment to the mission of "making the universe a better place for all life forms."
